ViSenAI Technologies is committed to honouring your data rights. This Data Deletion Policy outlines how individuals can request the deletion of their personal data collected through our website, AI automation platform, or WhatsApp Business API-powered messaging services.
This policy is compliant with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) and Meta's requirements for WhatsApp Business Solution Providers. If you connected with ViSenAI or any of our clients through WhatsApp, you are entitled to request deletion of your data at any time.
1 Your Right to Deletion
Under the DPDPA 2023 and applicable international data protection standards, you have the right to request that ViSenAI erase your personal data when:
- The data is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected.
- You withdraw your consent (where consent was the legal basis for processing).
- You object to processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds.
- The data has been processed unlawfully.
- You no longer wish to receive communications from ViSenAI or its clients via WhatsApp or any other channel.
You do not need to provide a reason for your deletion request. We will process all valid requests promptly and free of charge.
2 WhatsApp Data Deletion
If you have interacted with ViSenAI or any of our clients through a WhatsApp Business number powered by our platform, the following data may have been processed by ViSenAI:
- Your WhatsApp phone number and display name.
- The content of messages exchanged in the conversation.
- Message metadata (timestamps, delivery status, read receipts).
- Consent and opt-in records associated with your number.
- Any profile information you shared during the conversation (e.g., name, property preferences, financial profile).
You may request deletion of all of the above data by following the process in Section 3. Note that message content stored within the WhatsApp platform itself is governed by Meta's Privacy Policy — deletion requests for WhatsApp's own servers must be directed to Meta.
3 How to Request Deletion
You can submit a data deletion request through any of the following methods:
Email Request
Send an email to info@visenai.io with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include your full name, the phone number or email address associated with your data, and a brief description of the data you'd like deleted.
WhatsApp Opt-Out
Reply STOP or DELETE to any WhatsApp message received from a ViSenAI-powered number. This will immediately opt you out of future communications and trigger a deletion review for your conversation data.
Written Request
Send a written request to our registered office at: ViSenAI Technologies, 140, Malleswari Nagar, Madampakkam, Chennai – 600126, Tamil Nadu, India. Mark the envelope "Data Deletion Request – Attn: Privacy Team".
Information to Include in Your Request
- Your full name.
- The phone number associated with your WhatsApp account (if applicable).
- Your email address or any other identifier used with ViSenAI.
- The specific data or data category you want deleted (or "all data" for a full erasure).
We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request to prevent unauthorised deletion of someone else's data.
4 What Gets Deleted
Upon receiving a valid deletion request, ViSenAI will erase or permanently anonymise the following data from our systems:
- Your name, email address, and phone number from our contact database.
- WhatsApp conversation logs and message history stored on our platform.
- Lead profile data (property preferences, financial parameters, etc.) collected during AI-assisted conversations.
- Your account data if you are a registered platform user.
- Opt-in consent records and communication preferences (the record of your consent will be replaced with a deletion event log).
- Any marketing lists or CRM entries associated with your identifier.
Where your data has been shared with a client operating through our platform (e.g., a real estate developer or financial advisor), we will notify that client of your deletion request so they can also erase it from their own systems.
5 What Is Retained (and Why)
Certain data may be retained even after a deletion request where we have a legal obligation or legitimate interest to do so:

Any retained data is held in minimised form with restricted access and is used only for the stated legal purpose. It is not used for any marketing, profiling, or operational activity.
6 Processing Timeline
We are committed to processing all data deletion requests promptly:
Acknowledgement
You will receive a confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your request within 48 hours of submission.
Identity Verification (if required)
If we need to verify your identity, we will contact you within 7 days. You will have 14 days to respond before the request is closed.
Deletion Completed
All applicable data will be permanently deleted or anonymised within 30 days of receiving a valid request. In complex cases, this may extend to 60 days — we will inform you if so.
7 Deletion Confirmation
Once your data has been successfully deleted, we will send you a confirmation email stating:
- The categories of data that were deleted.
- The date the deletion was completed.
- Any data that was retained and the legal basis for retention.
If your request cannot be fulfilled (e.g., due to an active legal obligation), we will explain the reason in writing and inform you of your right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India.
8 WhatsApp Opt-Out & Message Suppression
If you wish to stop receiving WhatsApp messages from ViSenAI or any business operating on our platform — without necessarily deleting all your data — you may opt out at any time:
- Reply STOP: Send "STOP" or "UNSUBSCRIBE" in reply to any WhatsApp message from us. Your number will be added to our suppression list immediately, and no further messages will be sent.
- Email opt-out: Email info@visenai.io with subject "WhatsApp Opt-Out" and your phone number.
Once added to the suppression list, your number will never be messaged again unless you explicitly opt back in. Opting out does not delete your existing data — submit a separate deletion request for that.
